The only sautéed asparagus recipe you’ll ever need

This recipe will elevate your typical cooked asparagus dish to a restaurant worthy level, with only a couple ingredients. It uses textures and flavours that play off of each other to make the perfectly simple sautéed asparagus dish.


Ingredients

1 bunch of asparagus

3 cloves of minced or roughly chopped garlic

salt and pepper

olive oil


Requires

1 stovetop pan

Cook Time

20 minutes


Instructions

1. Roughly cut off the white bottoms of the asparagus stalks

2. Place a stovetop pan with a drizzle of olive oil on medium heat for up to 2 minutes

3. Add asparagus

4. Cook for 15-20 minutes, adding the garlic, salt and pepper halfway and constantly flipping and stirring the pan to ensure an even cook

5. Remove from heat and enjoy!
