Watermelon Frosé (Frozen Rosé)

Watermelon Frosé, need I say more?


Pro Tips:

To make simple syrup, combine equal parts water and granulated sugar and heat on stovetop or microwave until sugar dissolves.

Instead of using ice, cut watermelon into chunks or cubes and freeze overnight or for at least 6 hours.


Substitutions

Reduce the amount of sugar in this drink by opting out of the simple syrup or using a sugar substitute (my favourite is stevia leaf extract).


Ingredients

1/2 large watermelon or about 6 cups of watermelon, cut into cubes or chunks (frozen is best)

1/2 cup simple syrup

3 limes, juiced

2-4 cups ice (optional, if watermelon isn't frozen)


Requires

1 blender


Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for at least 15 seconds (this may need to be done in multiple batches).

  2. Enjoy!
